Something unexpected happened today
My friend the German who comes for holidays and at the same time helps the strays, has been here for a while
I ve been helping her when I can, mostly taking her with my car when she needs to take a cat to or from the vet
We usually take the strays to the vet who is nearby, but this week this vet is not here so we went to the one next village
There is this cat (image is only for reference) who was sterilized one year and a half ago (May 2025)
So this is a strange cat and usually very fierce Sometimes I would see her with a bloated tummy but I thought she had worms or something
The German friend was very worried .. I was not so much
The had this feeling that the cat was not sterilized, I said that why would the vet not do it? How would she forget about it??
Well guess what
Today we went to the other vet They did an ultrasound and guess what they found out
The cat has a uterus and everything She was not sterilized
So tomorrow we will pay again for the same cat
And the cat has had to worry and to be frightened again
😭💔
