I tried to make a hive app, but I failed

Hello everyone!

This post is about a failure, well kind of.

I have successfully created 3 mini apps in the past few days plus one not so much.

I wanted to create a hive insights app for a long time now, there is some information hat I want to be able to retrieve for my account, and maybe other users will find it also useful.

So I decided to try it out today. I used ChatGPT (I got the free monthly offer to see how it would go), but it had many issues and for most of the part it did not work. So I decided to check out and make edits using claude (paid edition)

I loved the design of ChatGPT, but claude was the one that gave some nice solutions.

What I want with this app? To be able to retrieve the links of posts made in specific communities i.e. Lets say that someone wants all the links to the posts created in a certain community or with a certain tag. Also, it would be useful to see which communities have been preferred, statistics about this or about tags, etc.

There are many useful apps around, but I could not find everything in one tool.

I have created this prototype that you can check out yourself and tell me if you have any ideas that we could implement in this.

I will be putting this on hold for sometime, because I have some other projects that need to be done and completed in the next days - but any idea or feedback here will be appreciated.

In the meantime, this is the link if you wish to check it out, but please know that not everything is currently working.

Thank you in advance for your feedback on this!

using claude for coding troubleshooting usually saves so much time compared to chatgpt. pulling community post links into one place sounds super handy though so i hope you pick this project back up later.

a neat little tool! makes me curious how it works under the hood and it made me a bit nostalgic... digging up some realllllly old posts of mine in there.

the community links part might be the easy win, the bridge API already returns posts by community tag with paging. a chart of which communities someone posted in over the last 90 days would be really cool to see
