I was not sure if I would actually create this application, but I thought to complete my series of unfollow apps.
Until now, I have completed the first simple, working editions of the X, Insta, TikTok, LinkedIn (and now hive) Unfollow.
I am not sure if people will need or use them, but I think that some of the users may want to know if they are followed back / or if they get unfollowed right after being followed.
But let's get back to our app - and I all also share why I built it!
The link is: https://katerinaramm1.github.io/hive-unfollow/ (but please read below before checking it out)
It is the simplest app of all to use, you dont need to wait to download your data-you only put your username and immediately see who does not follow you back!
To be honest I did not expect my data to be 67% but we got to live with it!
As with all my other apps so far, it is free and safe to use. Nothing is stored, only used locally on your browser.
You can either load test data (try an example) or put your username to see your statistics. (check my account)
You see the below:
Follow back rate
How many you follow and how many follow you back (mutuals)
How many do NOT follow you back
After that, you can choose to open profile links to hive, peakd or ecency - you may download a csv of the profiles and simply start clicking on the profiles to see if you wish to unfollow them or not. (they may be project or other accounts that you wish to keep following)
If you wish to support this project, you could share it on X or other channels
You may save the image in the dimensions of your choice, leave or not your username on the image and then copy and paste the post anywhere or on X
As a final touch, I chose that users can see the most recent, trending, hot articles (and of course mine too:)
This means that if my tools become viral (or maybe a bit popular), people will also start searching about hive and get curious.
I have some other plans in mind, to be implemented next month. (not to be shared yet)
What do you think?
Is this something useful?
What would be more useful to you as a hive tool?
And if anyone knows, please tell me - do you think it would be ok to use the logo of hive in my tool?
Thank you for checking this out and for supporting my project!
