I scored this genuine pair of Micheal Kors black pumps for $2 Second hand at one of my old Thrift store haunts that summer of 2017. Perfect for special events, classic lines that make them great as business wear. And looking back things have changed and I have changed.
I'm not into writing regular updates of my Hive journey so these annual Hive Birthdays just come and go as time carries on. And we’re all good at letting time pass. Though my Hive Birthday being August 2017 I didn’t actually write my first post until January 2018. I spent the first few months reading, commenting and asking myself “What have I got myself into?” For now I owe it to you all an update to what's happening at my end of the computer screen.

I get it, celebrating reaching clear tangible Hive Power milestones are more fun than watching time pass from a rocking chair. It’s a great motivational program. By mid summer 2021 rolled around I was still a minnow with barely 3k HP. Rather than Hive power based fish rankings my milestones are marked by special events like; Those Pre-Hive days for the lack of a better word. The tumultuous era of Justin Sun followed by the great Exodus. The rise of Dogecoin and the year that the Crypto gods sent before me an angelic Shibe and rewarded me for my faith.
I said, “that wasn’t my faith, it was Elon Muck that blessed Dogecoin.” The angelic Shibe shrugged his shoulders and replied, “Much Wow, you’re right. On behalf of the Crypto gods swap thy Dogecoin now Wow! Doge are currently worth $0.11 USD this September morning. Worth much more than Hive. Enjoy your new status as Hive Dolphin.” Then the banning of Binance, and where my Crypto off ramp was closed off. In a way, my government delayed me long enough to remain with Hive.
My best reason in staying in the Hive Community
The rebirth of the Ladies of Hive community is something special. I feel that this community has become my greatest reason to stay. I feel as a part of a team, given a sense of purpose, and contributing to the welfare of this community as well as the greater Hive community. The question we all need to ask ourselves, "Can Hive survive this price collapse?
My Hive Power up Day is ready to go!
With the near collapse of the Hive price and the manner that the HBD is structured I have decided to swap most of my 1100 HBD I have saved over the last several years into Hive and raise my Stake about 41%, that is a 23,000 Hive Power, my biggest ever. It may be wishful thinking but, "I hope from here that the news of Hive's demise has been greatly exaggerated."
Current Status of my Health journey; Stable.
Currently my health hasn't improved by much since my last report. I have been using a Naturopathic remedy Iberogast solution that takes the edge off my feelings of nausea. I am eating better and my unhealthy rapid weight loss has leveled off and recovered some. I'm booked into consulting a Fibreoscan procedure in 6 weeks. I continue to endure the unexplainable abdominal discomfort. My General Practitioner will be advising me to give up driving within the next five years as I may be developing voluntary muscle control issues. And finally my persistently frequent light-headedness and balance issues I will have to give up on wearing those MK pumps anymore, these thrifted chunky heal Loafers will do. 🤗
