NEAR Connect: Every NEAR Wallet and Confidential Balances

image

NEAR is building infrastructure at a lightning pace and the Near Intents protocol just surpassed $25,000,000,000 in total traded volume. Needless to say, the Intents protocol is likely to become the most successful way to move crypto across chains.

NEAR Intents settles swaps across 35+ chains from a single balance, and Confidential Balances — live on near.com since February — hide what you hold and what you trade from public block explorers entirely using their Confidential Shard technology.

Until now, using any of it meant using near.com. And connecting a NEAR wallet to LeoDex meant hoping you used one of the two we supported.

NEAR has become the most traded protocol on LeoDex so today we shipped support for every major NEAR wallet at once.

NEAR Mobile, MyNearWallet, Nightly, Intear, Hana, HOT, NEAR CLI, plus the Meteor, Ledger and built-in wallet support we already had. And LeoDex is now, as far as we know, the first platform outside near.com itself to support NEAR Confidential Balances — view them, move funds in and out of them, and swap from them, without leaving the page.

No KYC. No account. Your keys the whole way through.

It is live on https://LeoDex.io right now. Click the wallet tab and select NEAR Wallets.

What we added

One tile, every NEAR wallet. We integrated NEAR Connector, the wallet standard NEAR's own near.com runs on. Click NEAR Wallets in the connect panel and pick your wallet — on desktop, NEAR Mobile shows a QR code you scan from your phone, approve, and you are connected. Wallets ship their own connection code through a shared registry, which means when a new NEAR wallet launches, LeoDex supports it without waiting on our team to ship an update.

Your Intents balances, finally visible. If you have ever used NEAR Intents you have a balance sitting inside the protocol that most wallets and dapps simply do not show. LeoDex now displays every position you hold there, with the token's real logo and an INTENTS tag, right in the wallet panel next to your on-chain NEAR assets.

Funny story of how we found thousands of dollars in assets sitting in our wallet we didn't even know existed (You might too). We had a confidential balance sitting in our wallet and couldn't see it from most Near Wallets/Sites. We connected with this integration and immediately saw the confidential balance rise.

If you've ever swapped Near Intents / used confidential assets, you may have a balance you didn't even know existed.

And swappable. Those Intents positions are not just display. Pick one in the swap token selector and route it through NEAR Intents directly — no withdrawing to a wallet first, no extra hop. One signature from your wallet executes to any chain.

Confidential Balances. Verify your wallet with a single signature — nothing moves, no key leaves your device — and LeoDex shows your Confidential balance beside your Main one, exactly the split near.com users know. Move funds between Main and Confidential, withdraw to any of 35+ chains, and swap from your confidential balance with the trade hidden from public explorers.

image

Honest privacy, stated plainly. Before you enable any of this, we tell you exactly what it is: confidential balances live on a permissioned ledger operated by the NEAR Intents network. Your activity is hidden from the public — not from the people running the network. It is privacy by access control and hardware attestation, not zero-knowledge proofs, and it is not a mixer.

Selective discretion at its finest.

Why Near Connect is so important

Two reasons.

First, the boring one: NEAR users could barely use LeoDex. The best-known NEAR mobile wallet could not connect at all. That is fixed, permanently, and not just for today's wallets — for whatever comes next.

Second: privacy on the public internet of money should not be exotic. Every transaction you make on a transparent chain is a permanent public record tied to your address — your salary, your savings, your mistakes. Confidential Balances are the most usable privacy primitive ANYONE has ever shipped, and they were locked inside one website. We love that website but also want to be a part of expanding private access to your own money globally.

We believe the future of money is onchain, private, and yours.

How to use it

Go to leodex.io and click Connect Wallet. Pick NEAR Wallets, choose your wallet — NEAR Mobile scans a QR, extensions connect directly.

Your NEAR balances load in the wallet panel, Intents positions included, each tagged so you know exactly where it lives.

To turn on Confidential: open the NEAR bucket, click Confidential, read what it is, and hit Verify wallet. One signature on your phone — no funds move — and the balance appears. From there, Move funds shifts value between Main and Confidential, and any confidential position can be swapped or withdrawn directly.

And if you just want the cheap, fast swaps without connecting anything: NEAR Intents routes still support deposit-address swaps. Scan, send, done. No wallet connection needed.

What's next

More rails. Deeper confidential swap routing, mobile parity for the full Confidential panel, and shielding directly from any external chain in one step.

More wallets, zero effort. The registry model means the NEAR wallet list grows on its own. We will keep auditing what ships through it.

In the meantime, it is all live at leodex.io. If you hold NEAR, or you have an old Intents balance you forgot existed, connect and look. Then try a confidential swap.

Supported NEAR wallets

Via NEAR Connector: NEAR Mobile, MyNearWallet, Nightly, Intear, Hana, HOT Wallet, NEAR CLI — with the list growing as wallets join the registry.

Native LeoDex support: Meteor, HOT extension, OKX, Trust, Ledger, Sender, and the built-in LeoDex wallet we just shipped called "Mane" (create or import in one click, keys never leave your device).

Confidential Balances work with any connected wallet that can sign NEP-413 messages — NEAR Mobile, Meteor, HOT, and the built-in LeoDex wallet today.

@khaleelkazi, "Before you enable any of this, we tell you exactly what it i..." es un punto que me parece importante destacar.
