If there is one thing I do very often it is search myself. I do not just do this for doing sake, I even do it to those around me because of two reasons. First I was trained to make sure I and those around me grow continuously and secondly, the only way to really grow is by evaluating your current position to probe whether or not you are making progress based on your goals. There are a lot of things I want to do and I would say I am limited by a lot of things especially finance, however my growth is not just dependent on what I have or do not have but what I can do and the things I can control and those are the most important things for me.
My growth is not just a matter of results because I have learned a long time ago that results come in progressions so we might not really see the result until we have made certain progress. For example, I am on hive to make money but then for me to really make money I must write and create different forms of contents and values. I can not control who sees my post or the amount of money I make per post, but I can control the quality of my post and the consistency of my post. If I get these two right then of course I would eventually get the money I am looking for.
I have learned for a long time that money or fame isn’t always the goal, but achieving purpose is. For example, even though I want to make money on hive, my purpose on hive isn’t to make money but to be useful in any capacity to the blockchain. This is why I support other creators and make sure I put out valuable pieces every single day. My support might be small, but with consistency, it can become something big. This way I have also gotten support from others in my four years of being on hive and for me this is how life should be.
