How far can you really go to protect yourself? I kept asking myself this question while watching this movie and the fact is that there are people who will go as far as the sun if they can. Imagine waking up in the middle of a murder scene, this was what happened to Adrian, who before now was just a successful business man until this moment changed his life forever. Now here is where the twist begins, Adrian did not just find himself in the middle of a murder situation, he found himself in the middle of a murder case involving his secret lover in a hotel and there is absolutely no way for him to prove his innocence. The thing I like about this movie is that the suspense starts building up from the very beginning and it was really crazy.
Now here is another twist to the story, perhaps Adrian was innocent and did not kill his mistress, but was he all that innocent? Because the fact was that in the movie he had killed someone sometime ago before the death of his mistress and both of them decided to hide the truth. Although the killing was a mistake because it was a car accident where Adrian got distracted and ran into another car killing the driver, he decided to hide it so no one knows about his secret affair. And then the funny thing was that the father of the person Adrian killed still helped him fix his car the same moment he was concealing the evidence which was even heart breaking to watch if you have a heart.
Now there is another twist, Adrian gets a lawyer who needs to represent him in court, but the lawyer asks Adrian to be honest with the events that happened before the death of his mistress. It turned out Adrian was lying about somethings and those were the things that tied his Lovers killer to him. First the person he hit in the motor accident did not really die, but Adrian still pushed his car to the lake and made sure he died from drowning. Then his mistress begins to get messages that suggest someone saw everything that happened which made them meet at that hotel, but this was just where it begins to get interesting.
The meeting in the hotel meant that they wanted to find out who knows more about the event they were trying to cover, but it ends with the death of Adrains mistress. When his lawyer got to know about what happened, that was when the last twist was unveiled. She wasn’t really a lawyer but the mother of the person they killed and she wanted answers for the death of her son. The way the story was told you will never see anything coming, you will never imagine the intentions even with the clues given and this was what really made this movie interesting. For me, this movie was worth the watch.
