So, last Saturday we had our hangout as usual, and it was just so much fun that we did not want it to end. We are currently on the first topic for this week, which is “HOMESCHOOLING OR NOT?”.
But before we proceed with the details of the topic, let us take a look at the winners of the last topic, which was “INFLUENCERS AND PROFESSIONALS”.
This topic was geared toward each member of the community, sharing their thoughts on the idea of influencers being regarded as experts on particular topics simply because they are famous in it. Especially when actual professionals in the field don’t seem to agree with that.
We got to see that while many people will be willing to follow someone’s teaching online simply because they look like they know what they’re saying, many won’t believe it and instead vet it from a source more reliable than the internet. This was an enlightening topic, indeed.
