Encuentra tu luz, segundo a segundo.
My Monday Morning Sunrise: My Motivational Monday
Today, Monday, October 26th, the last Monday of the month, this day gives me every reason to be grateful. I give thanks for that and for so much more, because I made it, because I am here, because I breathe. I thank the universe and my quantum life for everything—for my home, for my daughters, and for my wife, and of course, for my family, relatives, and friends.
Today is my Monday sunrise and it later turned into my motivational Monday. Ever since I started writing in my Monday sunrise, it has always been accompanied by those beautiful photographs I take from my apartment, and I can say with absolute certainty that I started this dynamic of writing to motivate everyone years ago and I had never, or almost never, failed to write on a Monday. However, last Monday, power outages prevented me from writing as I usually do on Mondays, even though I was able to take the pictures.
On Tuesday of that same week, I thought about writing regarding why I didn't write, and once again, due to power outages, I wasn't able to do it.
Life and the sun come up every day, and it is that sun, life, and my family that motivate me to keep going. If you live in Venezuela, you know and are well aware that these government criminals apply power outages simply to exercise social control over the population, but as my grandfather used to say, there is no evil that lasts a hundred years, and these scumbags are running out of time.
And the truth is that, in the end, every obstacle these wretches put in our way is nothing more than a test. They will cut off our electricity every so often, they will put police in our path when we go out to protest, they will try to shut down our equipment or our routine, but what they cannot turn off is the spark with which we choose to get up every morning.
That is why today, with more strength and with power restored, I look once again toward the eastern part of my country where the sun rises, filtering through the window of my apartment. Today's sunrise has a different meaning; it tastes of resistance, it tastes of perseverance, and it tastes of the conviction that we are building a better future for our loved ones—the ones who wait for us at home and who are the daily engine of our struggle.
May this Monday be not just the start of the week, but a firm reminder that we are still standing, without giving up, and with our eyes fixed on the goal and on my plans for this week.
For you who are reading this, I only wish that the universe multiplies health and blessings into every step you take this motivational Monday.
As the saying goes… The sun waits for no one. But it always rises for everyone.
So I get up, take this photo of the sky that never gives up, and write to remind myself that I am still here. And as long as I am here, there is a path ahead.
Just dedicate yourself to being happy. Find your light, second by second.
