The Moment I Became a Mother

There is one saying that says money, children, and good health are the source of happiness, and I agree with it. I believe these three things can bring a lot of happiness into a person's life. Having enough money can make life easier, good health allows us to enjoy life, and having children can bring a kind of happiness that is difficult to explain with words.

One experience in my life that genuinely made me happy, and probably the happiest moment I have ever experienced, was when I became a mom for the first time.

I still remember the feeling when I finally saw my baby. I looked at him and kept wondering, "Did this beautiful little creature really come out from my body?" I could hardly believe that I was now a mother. It was a mixture of excitement, happiness, surprise, and so many other emotions that I cannot really put into words.

That night, I couldn't sleep. I was so excited that I just kept looking at the baby. I would stare at him while he was sleeping, looking at his tiny face, his little hands, and everything about him. Honestly, I felt like if I looked away for too long, someone might come and take him away from me. I just wanted to keep looking at him and make sure he was really there.

It was such a simple moment, but for me, it meant everything. Before becoming a mother, I had heard people talk about the love a parent has for a child, but I don't think I truly understood it until I experienced it myself. There was suddenly this little person who depended on me completely, and at the same time, I felt an overwhelming love for him.

When I think about happiness, I don't think it is only about having money or achieving big things in life. Of course, achievements can make us happy. Getting a good job, buying a house, starting a business, passing an exam, or reaching a goal after working hard can all give us a sense of happiness and satisfaction. But I think those kinds of happiness can sometimes come and go.

The happiness I felt when I became a mother was different. It was not because I had achieved something or received a reward. It was because I had someone new in my life whom I already loved so much. That moment taught me that sometimes the smallest moments can become the biggest memories of our lives.

I also believe that happiness comes a lot from the people we have around us. We can have money and many achievements, but if we have no one to share our lives with, it may not feel as meaningful. The people we love can make ordinary moments special. A simple conversation, a family meal, a laugh with friends, or watching your child sleep peacefully can bring a kind of happiness that money cannot always buy.

For me, becoming a mother for the first time will always be one of the most unforgettable experiences of my life. It made me understand a different kind of love and gave me a happiness that words can hardly explain.

Achievements can make us happy, but the people and moments we share are what make life truly meaningful. Money can make some things easier, but love, family, good health, and the memories we create with the people we care about are the things I believe we remember and treasure the most.

Thanks for checking on my blog and have a wonderful day

I think motherhood comes with a whole lot of feeling words cannot properly describe.

  • I can relate.

There was no article I didn't read as a first time mom because I want to do right.

And those funny moments I'll go check if my baby is still breathing whenever she sleeps more than 1hr. It's such a wonderful feeling.
