Let’s be honest for a moment, every one who has been around for a while was once a newbie. We joined without knowing all the rules, without understanding how everything worked, and sometimes without even knowing what questions we were supposed to ask. We were learning, watching, making mistakes, and trying to figure out where we fit in.
Well, as far as I know, the money most people anticipated is not really what they met when they joined. A lot of people probably came in expecting to make money easily, maybe without having to do too much. So when they realized that it actually takes time, effort, consistency, and learning before you can start seeing meaningful results, I think some of them were simply disappointed.
I can understand why, though. When you hear people talking about how much they have earned here, it is easy to get excited and think that you can also come in and start making money almost immediately. But the reality is quite different. There is a learning process, and for someone who is completely new, it can be frustrating when the results don't come as quickly as they expected.
Personally, I think this is one area where the community, can do better. Maybe they need to be more open with new members about what they should realistically expect when they join. Instead of making it seem like making money here is easy, we can explain that it is possible, but it takes patience and participation
I think one of the other reasons is that they don't feel seen. Imagine joining a community where everyone seems to know each other. People are having conversations, sharing experiences, making jokes, and talking about things you don't understand yet. You make a post, ask a question, or introduce yourself, and barely anyone responds. Maybe someone eventually answers, but the response is short or makes you feel like you should have already known the answer.
After a while, you might start thinking, “Maybe this place isn't for me.” And then you quietly disappear I also think some newbies don't really know what they are getting into. They see the earning side of things first, but they don't always see the work behind those earnings. Writing posts, engaging with others, building connections and being consistent all take time. When they discover this, some may feel that it is not worth the effort and eventually leave.
After all, we were all new once. We also had to learn how things worked, make mistakes and slowly find our place. If we can remember that and give new members a little more patience and encouragement, maybe more of them will stay long enough to experience what the community really has to offer.
