It's nice to be back after a day of missing Hive due to pre-occupied schedule. Hello Hive Fam! Warm greetings to my ever‑supportive Hive Friends all over the world, most especially my co‑Pinoy Hivers who always make this community feel like home.
Today, I received a bowl of food from my generous neighbor. The dish had long, tender vegetable stems mixed with chunks of meat, all coated in a savory sauce. It looked rustic, home‑cooked, and full of flavor.

I honestly don’t know the exact name of this viand, but my neighbor cheerfully told me it’s a type of adobo. That surprised me because I’ve only heard of the usual pork or chicken adobo, never this version with vegetables. Still, I trusted her cooking and enjoyed it wholeheartedly.

I ate it for lunch, and the taste was comforting; savory, slightly tangy, and rich. It felt like one of those dishes that remind you of the creativity in Filipino kitchens, where every household has its own twist on classics.

I’m grateful for neighbors who share their food and kindness. Even if I don’t know the exact name of this adobo, what matters most is the warmth behind the gesture and the joy of discovering something new at the table. Thank you, Hive Fam, for joining me in this little food adventure.
