Yesterday afternoon, I finally got the chance to try a stick of Nescafé Ice Roast Made for Iced Coffee during my merienda time. As a coffee lover, I was curious about how it would taste, especially since it is specially made to be enjoyed cold. Preparing it was very simple. I grabbed a glass, poured in some cold water, added the Nescafé Ice Roast, and mixed everything well. After that, I dropped a few ice cubes into the glass to make it extra refreshing. Since the weather has been quite warm lately, an iced coffee sounded like the perfect afternoon treat.
When I took my first sip, I found the taste quite good. To be honest, it reminded me of the regular roast coffees from other brands. It had a familiar coffee flavor that was easy to enjoy. It was not too strong for me, and the cold temperature made it even more refreshing.
Of course, coffee is even better when paired with something to eat. For my merienda, I prepared some bread buns and spread Star Margarine on them. The creamy and slightly sweet taste of the margarine complemented the coffee nicely. It was a simple combination, but it was satisfying enough to make my afternoon break more enjoyable.
I always appreciate these little moments during the day. A simple snack, a cold cup of coffee, and a few minutes to relax can make a busy day feel a bit lighter. Sometimes, happiness can be found in the simplest things.
Overall, I had a pleasant experience trying Nescafé Ice Roast Made for Iced Coffee. It was refreshing, easy to prepare, and perfect for an afternoon coffee break. I would not mind having another glass whenever I need a cold caffeine boost during a warm day.
