Plus: Next Technology Clears Bitcoin Sale Option, Binance Covers Most Hacked Funds
Good Morning Lions,
Binance reopening withdrawals is the first real test of whether its hack recovery holds up. If users rush to pull coins over the next few days, no recovery percentage will calm anyone. A Nasdaq-listed company putting its entire BTC stack up for sale or loans tells me exchange fear has reached corporate treasuries too. Meanwhile Circle keeps minting on Solana like nothing happened, frens.
Binance Begins Restoring Network Withdrawals
TL;DR: Binance said it would begin restoring withdrawals on Nov. 1 across 15 networks, including Bitcoin, Ethereum and the XRP Ledger. The exchange disclosed it had recovered about 95% of the assets affected by its recent security breach.
Next Technology Clears Bitcoin Sale Option
TL;DR: Nasdaq-listed Next Technology Holding said its board authorized selling, or borrowing against, all 5,833 BTC it holds, Crypto Briefing reported. The company cited worries over exchange security following the Binance breach as the reason for the decision.
Binance Covers Most Hacked Funds
TL;DR: Binance said it has covered 90% of the funds stolen in its recent hack, up from about 80% previously. The exchange is putting more than $6.3 billion toward the incident and said it expected withdrawals to reopen on November 1.
Circle Mints More USDC on Solana
TL;DR: Circle's USDC Treasury minted 250 million USDC on Solana between October 27 and 28, per Whale Alert data. It marked the fifth mint of that size in October, and every one of the five landed on Solana.
Ethereum Leads Stablecoin Issuance Share
TL;DR: Ethereum accounted for about 54.1% of stablecoin issuance as of late October 2026, according to Crypto Briefing. Its tokenized stock market grew about 170% year over year to reach $827 million.
XRP Ledger Fee Burn Accelerates
TL;DR: XRP's fee burn rate rose 147% near the end of October, according to U.Today. The token was down 15.86% for the month, putting it on track for its first losing month since July.
Dogecoin Heads for Losing October
TL;DR: Dogecoin was down 20.1% month-to-date as of Oct. 31, per CryptoRank data cited by U.Today. The drop puts DOGE on track for a second straight losing October and erases much of its Q3 gain.
Binance has now given two numbers, 90% covered and about 95% recovered, and covering losses is a different thing from getting assets back. If withdrawals on all 15 networks run clean this week, that gap stops mattering 🦁 — Khal
