Family is not just a single word to me. Family is support, love and ultimate care we give to each other in our daily life. Family is not includes only our parents and siblings but family also includes uncle's, ant's and cousin. Every person is born in a family but as people grow older family relationships start to change.

Why do family relationship matters??
Family is just like our representation in a society because we're bound to them and we recognize with them so it plays an important role in our life. I have many family relative obviously both from my Dad's side and mother's side of the family. My relatives are a part of my family even we do not meet oftenly but my uncle's and aunt's are a part of my family because blood relationship always remain a part of our family.
Our dad side family is not so big and I have only two uncle's who are my dad's elder brother's and I have around six cousin's from my dad's side of the family. My mom side family is big as I've two aunt's who are my mom's sister's and 5 uncle's who are my mom's brother's and I've a group of cousins lol not easily counted.
My family lives in a joint family system. I grew up with my dad's brother family and cousins and I have a good relationship with them. But I am always excited to visit my grandmother's house on my mother side because my mother's side relative also give us love but we can't meet everyday and only during vacations as mom side family is living far apart from us in other city.
Family relationships were good to me until i start to realized them when i started to grow old.
Why family relationship fades with time?
I am the elder sister and I am so close to my parents. My parents share family conversation with me that I do not understand everything my parents discuss. My parents have always taught us to respect our uncle's and aunt's and we do but as I grow older i realized some family members aren't there when we need them in our difficult time.
Family does not mean people who only come during pleasure time but family also help to you when the time of need while i find my uncle and aunt's only to stay silent and act like that they don't know about anything like how is this possible they don't know about my tough time and they always know about my happy time. It's the matter of priority as they not prefer to stand in bad time and always their cheers in happiness. Some family members do not even bother to come on pleasurable moments.
When Uncle and aunt's are absent during difficult time,family start to feel like common people. Family is important when they're there in the time of need as they can not cut of from our tough time. I do not know how family relationships turned in other countries but i do not find some good relationship in our country. Now we only get-together during wedding ceremony as you can say it's not a wedding party but it's a family get-together.
Final thoughts!!
In my opinion, family should our strength not our weakness and we feel strength when we find them in the time of need. I am not saying here I am totally cut of from my uncle and aunt's we have a good relationship but it only for the happy moments and some are busy enough that they can not come to cheers with you. So, here we are grinding alone in this world.
