Happy #aliveandthriving Thursday afternoon to you and thank you for your visit!
Today I wanted to take a few mile bike ride so having not been by the local park for awhile I decided to ride over there and take a look - and "did" get lucky!
So when I rode over to the far side I saw two Seagulls on poles - across the Channel is Padre Island,
This is a look South along the Shoreline today. As you can see the Tide is up! Even the Breeding Pond in the background has filled up again,
And just a look at the Shade Structure and out across the Channel,
Now at this point I had decided to leave and see what I find elsewhere. So I was leaving the Park and glanced over at the Stream and saw this Great Blue Heron - watching me,
I stayed there a short while and it went back to watching bait fish,
(the reflection looks better than the image of the bird itself)
And then in happened! "Bam"! It got one and I got a photo of it - not a sharp as I would like but better than no photo!
And at that point I hit a "memory full" error, so... I rode around a bit more and headed home.
