I am unable to explain this, but I find pelicans to be one of the most graceful, elegant and amazing birds I have ever met.
Nature, in its myriads of creative ways, evolved those birds to feed in a unique way and obviously they need to eat a lot to support their big bodies...
The feeling when those birds trust you to come closer to them, is also hard to explain. Although, a telephoto lens with huge "zoom" helps too ;)
