Hey everyone,

Great news from Team Livid HQ. We may have liftoff with LiteWallet. The dev environment is now running courtesy of the awesome @cadawg, a fellow developer here. He made the rather popular Steem Engine Tools. He is kindly providing us with (for testing):

  • Space on his web server
  • A subdirectory on https://steem.tools
  • A server to run the Python back-end
  • MySQL Server

All with the help of a tunnel to allow SQL server access from the other server. Crazy bugs were encountered and he solved a problem I've been having for ages, I forgot to exclude directories from being shown as 404's, so / ended up showing you the 404 page instead of the home/login page 😡

This is awesome and a fresh pair of eyes is very useful. I've already seen that we have a strong developer community here which is really awesome! Everyone seems keen to help make this a reality and I've been told there is a new DAO which you can use to fund stuff somehow?

Once I learn about this DAO and manage to get it properly working, I'll have to await funding then we can rev up the engines. I was thinking it may be possible to eliminate fees if we get enough funding for the project. That'd be cool because currently we have 0.001 fees to power up so that we can have enough RC to send user transactions.
