Hello Splinterlands warriors and welcome back to my blog!
It's the start of another Splinterlands season and a major change has come our way. Starting this season, the new ranked brackets starts. This means that we have to choose the bracket we will compete it. This is a crucial choice because the level of our cards determine which bracket to best compete at. For example, in the Silver bracket that I chose, the minimum level of common cards is two so my level one common cards cannot be used. For that matter, this is the table of level of cards per bracket. You need to know this to determine which bracket you can best compete at.
For example, the in the Wood bracket, the minimum and maximum levels are one while in the silver, the minimum levels are two common, one rare, one epic and one legendary. The maximum levels for silver are five common, four rare, three epic and two legendary. The higher the bracket, the higher level of cards are needed.
Divisions
Each bracket has nine divisions. I just cleared level nine and got the following rewards. I'll keep on grinding to get more.
Featured Battle
In the early divisions, I'm spamming Water magic team and it seems successful. In this battle, the mana cap is high so I had the Blue Wyrm Travesty at tank. Next up is Ulundin Overseer. I had to rent a level two since my level one cannot be used in the Silver bracket. Next is Shiraza to give Ulundin Overseer two magic attack through Weapons Training ability. In fourth position is Mystic Scaleweaver who deals three magic damage and slows down the enemy. Together with Blue Wyrm Travesty, they both decrease the enemy's speed by two. In fifth is Torrent Sniper who has Painforge ability. Last is Shock Trooper who deals four magic damage but has the Electrified Debilitation. This is the reasone why I included Torrent Sniper in the team. His attack will increase as the battle goes on.
The enemy had the Fire team with Arena Vanguard card Jolius Blast. He is my favorite Arena Vanguard card but he needs to be at least level two to compete in Modern otherwise, he will be overpowered by other cards. The enemy had a decent line up but my team had more attack over all and won the battle.
