A Rainy Wednesday Walk Afternoon Along the Road

Hello everyone πŸ€— How are you today? I hope you're doing fine. Well today's Wednesday walk is quiete different. I experienced heavy downpour of rain while I'm having a little walk on the road. So I stopped for a while and looked for a place to stay in.

inbound596979617244013097.jpg While passing by I can't helped but to capture this out. Just a quick heavy downpour of the rain and every road I passed seemed to look like it's being typhooned.inbound7330427554431508478.jpg The whole area of the gasoline station is being flooded with water. I can't helped but think that even a few minutes of rain all the areas are now submerged with rain water.inbound4824139899773941250.jpginbound4255814570208592199.jpg I just passed this place near Pueblo Verde, and it's so devastating to see. I remembered that this area was being repaired just recently and I can't helped but think what kind of road construction or road repair they're making, why is this happening? My little walk this time made me think critically on what happened to the surroundings after I witnessed the unusual floodings in the area.inbound1512223592113047621.jpg I stayed on the place for a while, and observed how the people think of some temporary solutions just to not being stucked in a traffic.

I continued my little walk crossing in another side of the road, seeing how everyone suffered from the effect of a poor governance of the place. inbound1537422904367835205.jpg My afternoon walk became so dramatic this time. I witnessed how vehicles experienced traffic jams during this rushed hours instead of getting home earlier. Bumpers to bumpers, each vehicles would have to pass this kind of situation. DPWH or Department of Public Works and Highways hopefully could have some solutions to this major problems about poor drainage. Just a little sharing of my sentiments in this one of a kind Wednesday Walk moment of mine. This would be all for now and see you in my next walking blog journey.Bye☺️😊

SANAOL may ulan! Char! Ang init-init here. Anyways, nice post, Sissy. It is sad to see that a few minutes of heavy rain can already cause flooding in the area. Nakakaalala tuloy kung gaano kahalaga ang maayos na drainage system. I can understand your concern after seeing the roads submerged in water even after recent repairs. Traffic jams like that can be very stressful for commuters and drivers. Hopefully, the local officials and DPWH can find a long-term solution to this problem. Salamat for sharing your Wednesday Walk experience and observations. Sometimes a simple walk helps us notice important issues in our community. Ingat palagi during rainy days, and I hope your next walk will be safer and more enjoyable. 😊
