Hello everyone π€ Today's a busy day for me as a teacher because I checked students output. One of their projects made at home is a Banana- Apple Fermented Foliar Fertilizer. π π π π π π π π π π π ππ

Since today's day 7 of their outputs, I checked their output individually.

Their tasked was to follow the instructions I'm giving to them.
I also let them watch some videos how to do it properly.
I'm glad they successfully followed the directions in making it.
Their output differ from the color of the molasses, the bottles or container their using, their created logos.
Each of the students followed the instructions thoroughly. A piece of banana and an apple was being sliced into pieces and mixed with brown sugar, placed it in a pan. After its thoroughly mixed, sealed and tight it gently and place it in a dry and safe place. To break down all the organic ingredients, they have to wait for atleast 7 days. Strained it's mixture and placed in a clean bottles.

Some of students presented their work in front. After checking their outputs I then let it bring back at home so that they can used it in their garden. The activity I gave to them taught the students how to make an organic fertilizer. In this way, this will able helped their plants in their garden to grow healthier and achieve its optimal growth.
I explained to them how this fertilizer benefits to their plants in the garden. What also made this fertilizer beautiful was that this can be applied direct to the plants or either to their leaves. Plants will absorbed faster this type of fertilizer than the animal manure.
I appreciate the students effort in making this project. For this activity tested how patient they are waiting the day's to let the materials break down. It takes time and effort to do this. Another is how they used and utilized the peelings of apple and banana and recycled it transformed it to a useful one.
This sustainable lesson really were a great help to students to discover that there's something in the kitchen that can help sustain Mother Nature..
I hope you learned some insights today and see you in the next blog journey..
