A cup of coffee with love

Good Morning to all my wonderful friends here@asean.hive. How are all of you? Another week has begun. I am a coffee lover, so today this is going to be a post about a new coffee place here in Miri.

Hi from Miri, Sarawak, on the island of Borneo. There is a new cafe here in Miri, which is called

KENANGAN COFFEE

In English, Kenangan is translated as Nostalgia.

This new cafe is located in Permymall, which has already been renovated to modernize the whole building. I was searching for Kenangan Coffee store here at Permymall, Miri. I saw their advertisement from Facebook. So, I wanted to try the coffee.

After a bit of walking around the mall, we finally arrived at Kenangan coffee store. This is their latest drink. The matcha series, and if you order a certain amount, you could also get the matcha plushie. We ordered the drinks from the app and their was a discount for the first order for new customers.

There were lots of people waiting for their drinks too and after around 15 minutes, the drinks were ready. I did not get the plushie this time.

After ordering our drinks, we both took a photo of the drinks. The coffee beans were freshly blended, and I ordered the latte, and my wife ordered the matcha pistachio coffee drink. The coffee has strong aromatic smell and I ordered a cold cup of coffee. Recently, Malaysia has been hit by the haze and having a cold cup of coffee is certainly a relief.

The cafe looks quite modern.

I used to be a coffee lover, especially when I was in college because I was a working student. I needed coffee to keep me awake, and I really preferred strong coffee back then. Haha! But now that I'm getting older, I feel sad because coffee makes my heart race.Any kind of coffee makes my heart race now, even the mild ones. So sad! I really miss the days when I could enjoy a strong cup of coffee without worrying about palpitations.

Wow! Happy coffee time with your love. 😊 I missed coffee latte. I don't know when I can taste that again. 😁 I'm not in the city anymore. I've been living in the countryside for more than a year already. 😅
