Poem:
Some people never leave you
Some People's Never Leave you
Some people don't leave when they die.
They leave their shoes by the door.
Their laugh inside old walls.
Their fingerprints on cups nobody wants to wash.
One day you realize...
You are speaking with their words.
Smiling with their habits.
Living with pieces they quietly left inside you.
Life is strange.
When we are young we run after tomorrow
thinking happiness is waiting somewhere ahead.
Then one morning
without anyone telling us
we start missing yesterday.
The house is still there.
The road is still there.
Even the sky looks the same.
Only the people are missing.
And somehow...
that changes everything.
Time never asks permission.
It steals black hair
turns it silver
steals strong legs
turns them slow
steals voices
until all that remains are stories.
Maybe that is why old people repeat the same memories.
Not because they forgot new ones.
Because those old moments are the only places where everyone they loved is still alive.
We spend years trying to become somebody.
More money.
More success.
More respect.
Then life quietly whispers something nobody teaches in school.
None of those things will sit beside your bed when the lights become dim.
Only people will.
Only love will.
Only kindness will.
The saddest truth I have learned...
Is that we never know which goodbye is the last one.
Sometimes we leave saying
"I'll see you tomorrow."
Tomorrow never comes.
That is why I have stopped counting years.
Now I count conversations.
Shared meals.
Unexpected laughs.
Silent walks.
Because one day
those ordinary moments become priceless memories.
Life isn't asking us to be perfect.
It is asking us to be present.
To look at our parents a little longer.
To hug our friends a little tighter.
To forgive before pride becomes regret.
To say "I love you"
before silence learns to speak for us.
People think courage is standing in front of danger.
Maybe.
But I think courage is waking up after losing someone
and still believing life is worth loving.
That is a different kind of bravery.
A quieter one.
The world keeps changing.
Cities grow.
Technology becomes smarter.
Roads become faster.
But the human heart...
It still breaks the same way it did hundreds of years ago.
Maybe that will never change.
Maybe that is what makes us human.
At the end of everything
Nobody remembers how expensive your watch was.
Nobody remembers how many followers you had.
Nobody remembers how many times you won.
They remember how you made them feel.
They remember whether your presence brought peace or pain.
And maybe...
That is the closest thing to immortality any of us will ever have.
So if life teaches us anything
Let it be this.
Leave behind kindness.
Leave behind laughter.
It Leave behind memories that make someone smile years after you're gone.
Because graves hold bodies.
They never hold love.
And Love always find a way to keep breathing.
So basically this poem is about the death of loved ones, they die but their memories are kept save with us and it reminds of us the love and moments of love which we enjoyed it at that time,
So this was simple explanation to it,
And thanks for everyone and your upvotes so see u soon until my next poem
And for now bye and take care
