Este año ha sido un año muy loco, lleno de nuevas y diferentes experiencias y además con muchos cambios pero eso no quiere decir que haya sido malo. Una de esas nuevas experiencias que vivimos en este año fue recientemente cuando fuimos a nuestro primer concierto.
This year has been a very crazy one, full of new and different experiences as well as many changes—but that doesn’t mean it has been a bad year. One of those new experiences we had this year was when we recently went to our first concert.
Hace 5 meses anunciaron que vendría Iron Maiden a Curitiba como parte de su gira Run for your lifes y apenas nos enteramos queríamos ir, así que solo estuvimos pendientes de la venta de ingresos para adquirir los nuestros. Una vez finalizada nuestra compra solo nos quedaba esperar la llegada del gran día.
Five months ago, they announced that Iron Maiden would be coming to Curitiba as part of their Run for Your Life tour, and as soon as we found out, we wanted to go. So we kept a close eye on ticket sales to buy ours. Once we had our tickets, all we had to do was wait for the big day.
Cuando se acercaba la fecha fuimos a una tienda llamada Túnel do Rock a comprar nuestras camisetas oficiales de la gira para ir al concierto y llegado el día la emoción era increíble.
As the date approached, we went to a store called Túnel do Rock to buy our official tour t-shirts for the concert, and when the day arrived, the excitement was incredible.
Nos fuimos después del trabajo, ubicamos los portones e ingresamos. Todo fue muy fácil y rápido, sin contratiempos ni desorden. Nuestra ubicación era en la parte superior, la cual estaba algo lejos pero donde teníamos asientos.
We left after work, located the gates, and went in. Everything was very easy and quick, without any problems or disorder. Our location was upstairs, which was a bit far away, but we had seats there.
El concierto estaba pautado para comenzar a las 7:10 pero comenzó casi a las 9, lo bueno es que durante ese tiempo estuvimos escuchando a la banda de apertura que también fue buena. Salimos de allí casi a las 12 y al igual que para entrar para salir también fue fácil y organizado.
The concert was scheduled to start at 7:10 but began almost at 9. The good thing was that during that time we were able to listen to the opening band, which was also good. We left there around 12, and just like getting in, getting out was also easy and organized.
En la salida compramos un par de vasos como recuerdo de nuestro primer concierto y nos fuimos a casa felices de haber vivido esa increíble experiencia que fue haber visto en persona una banda que nos gusta mucho. Cantamos todas sus canciones a todo pulmón, tomé algunas fotos y grabé varios videos, pero como les mencioné estábamos más o menos lejos pero lo importante es que eso no fue ningún impedimento para disfrutar de esa increíble noche.
On the way out, we bought a couple of glasses as souvenirs of our first concert and went home happy to have had such an incredible experience seeing a band we really like live. We sang all their songs at the top of our lungs, I took some photos and recorded several videos, but as I mentioned, we were rather far away, but the important thing is that it wasn't an obstacle to enjoying that amazing night.
