I love pets a lot and would have to have one; yeah, I love to have them around, but I personally do not own any. But if I had the chance to, I would love to own a cat and a dog. Very cute and beautiful creatures; I've always admired them. There's this friend of mine who owned them, and I couldn't stop visiting him back then when I was still staying very close to him. I know you can already tell why I'm always visiting.
I've read a lot about dogs, and that made me love them. When I began to get close too, I saw that it was all true. Dogs are very loyal; I mean, very, very loyal. And there's something playful too. I remember how those dogs used to bark then anytime I came by, barking and running to me; you know, you could see them excited and the excitement written all over them. And cats, very cute creatures too; what I love most in a cat is its eyes. Some find it dreadful, especially at night, but I love it. I love how attached they can be; they're not the playful type like dogs. They can be reserved at times, but I love them.
And for me, the best part of having a pet for myself would be the companionship they offer. There are times you don't need to have someone by your side; you just need a living being, sitting next to you, looking at you, sitting/lying on you, and seeming to really understand those things you're not exactly saying out loud. And having pets is a good way to learn responsibility. You know you would be the one to care for them, feed them, attend to them, and all that, the way you begin to learn patience, kindness, and a lot more.
I'd feel for my friend back then, though, because I can tell it's not easy and it's not always fun having a pet. He would have to clean them, shave them, feed them, take them to the vet, and all of that—not an easy one, honestly. You just need to make time out for them mo matter how busy you're, and they as well can be very annoying at times, even still you handle them with care and be patient.
I would love to own a cat and a dog, though; yeah, I wouldn't mind experiencing it myself.
