[Movie] Movie Review: PAVANE.

I began watching this movie yesterday, and I finished it yesterday too. And to be honest with you, the film is kind of boring. I didn't even know how I stayed glued till the end even when I still have a couple of movies that have been rated high that I can watch. Maybe it was because of one of the main characters, the guy. I'd enjoy his movies, so I was kind of so sure something would definitely come up in this movie.

If you're someone like me who enjoys actions, dramas, romance, and various twists in movies, you will definitely not enjoy this movie. You may not even find the meaning in it if you don't watch it carefully to understand. What I'm saying is, this movie may bore you. It did bore me too, as it is a very kind of slow movie. And honestly, I can't really say what kept me glued till the very end, and I'm glad I watched it till the end, as I was finally able to see the main message of the movie.

This movie is about three people (Gyeong-rok, Mi-Jeong & Yo-han) who're struggling with themselves, the way they appear to the world, and the way the world itself sees them. It is not your regular kind of movie. And I can't help but really wait to see how everything will unfold and all. Mi-Jeong happens to be the lady amongst them, and she's the one who made me think the most. The way she acted in that movie was just too much, like she's the very withdrawn type. She's the type who has become so used to getting judged by her appearance, feeling unwanted and unloved. The guy who acted as Gyeong-rok happens to be someone I like; it's just that he acted a bit differently in this particular movie.

And the third guy, Yo-han, who looked to be a bit human too, was actually carrying his own pain too. And honestly, I didn't even know. He seems to be a very free-spirited kind of person. It was towards the end of the movie I found out they are all just looking for acceptance. Like someone who would look and see them beyond every single thing they hated about themselves.

The three of them happened to be damaged people, imperfect, and even still, they became each other's source of comfort. They found love, ease, and comfort in each other. Well, I'm sure I tried a little bit, and this little review I'm able to write about it because, believe me, it is not that type of easy-to-understand movie that you can be able to write something on. And I'm not going to sugar-coat anything; well, I didn't from the start either. But then, this movie obviously isn't for anyone who wants something that will grab their attention or keep them glued or entertained.

And in as much as I wouldn't or probably would not watch this movie again, I would still say it is okay to some extent. It reminds me that there are times the only thing some people need is just someone who really sees them, accepts them, and loves them.

First time I would be rating a movie this low.

That is why they do say that no matter how worse you are, you will still have matching friends who are perfect for you. I understand how those kind of boring movies can make one feel actually and it's just like war that you have to just finish up with it
