It is sad, and frankly criminal, that we don't actually reform those in prison. The joke is that the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result. Prison should be about reform and education with support once released.

I've heard about this idea... that the ability to give past criminals (and the homeless) homes really does make a positive impact in their lives.
