In animal production animals needs to be guided based on the knowledge you have or what you think it will be done to feed them and also to maintain a very good hygiene. Meaning of force always aim and love to keep animals such as dogs, cat,birds,pig, grasscutter,fish and other animals but refuse to admit some rules and objectives that serves as guidelines. Most especially when it comes to animal feeding.
Animal feeding should be done and to ensure that the animals are really truly growing up. Not just to maintain that they are alive. Grasscutter also is one of the animals that eat constantly no matter what it is. I have monitored them several times and this is what I concluded for the past four months. When your grass cutter continue to chew it will reduce a lot of risk to destroy your cage either a wooden cage or a metal cage. There is possibilities that when you skip one meal then it will trigger up more anger with them to destroy cages. I fit the grasscutter regularly and also to maintain a very good relationship between animal and also farmers. I always introduce my kids to the farm as well so that they will also grow interest in keeping animals for different purposes.
- You can see in the picture that daily feeding is also at libitum. Whenever I feel like they are very idle and doing nothing. I'll get into the woods to find grasses for them or some already mini dried potatoes, yam, cocoyam, cassava tubers for them.
Meaning dried tubers in the sense that, it is not too good to feed your animals fresh tubers or fresh peels. It's me affect their growth it may not be instantly but very soon. Tubers like potato and the rest. As a farmer you need to always maintain mini dried foods for the Grasscutter. Although they can eat it fresh but it's extremely dangerous.
Keeping GRASSCUTTER, also involves a lot of positive energy because, you need to always visit them to know what attitude they give whenever you are entering the farm or giving them food or packing their droppings. It is good to always monitor them closely. That is what I always do on the farm. I can spend up to 2 hours or more with the grasscutter observing them.
