Hello, dear community! I hope you had a happy holiday season and a happy new year... This past month, i took advantage of and am still enjoying the company of my sister, who came to visit me from Caracas... Fortunately, she couldn't return to her city for obvious reasons that many of you already know. It's not very safe there right now, and to be honest, nowhere is safe right now. But today i was finally able to finish this drawing to continue filling my sketchbooks that are still incomplete.
Sketching

I began to sketch the first lines for my spirit animal. Ever since i was a child, i have loved owls, so there is always a beautiful owl in my drawings. Then i decided to use my drawing pens to outline it. Sometimes i don't want to use any outlines because it depends on the style and technique i want to use.

Technique / Materials
I wanted to try out the watercolors i had bought some time ago, but i hadn't dared to use them yet because it's not my main technique and i don't know how to use them very well. Also, my sketchbook doesn't have the right paper for watercolors, but as always, i like to mix different techniques. I used watercolors for the base because they allow me to paint larger areas quickly, and then i continued with the other layers using other techniques. I didn't have anything specific planned except for the watercolors, but as i drew, i saw what details i could add. In the end, i ended up using almost everything i always use: colored pencils and, for the final details, acrylic markers. I admit that even though i love owls, maybe i wasn't having one of my best days, or i don't know, but i found it very difficult to finish.

Thank You for visiting and supporting my little artístic corner, see you later! ;)
