Green City Market on the north side of Chicago in Lincoln Park is a popular Saturday farmers market and the sunny morning provided great opportunities for photos
It features sustainably grown regional produce, fresh fruits and vegetables, pasture-raised meats, artisan cheeses, fresh-baked bread, flowers, and prepared food items. There are chef demonstrations and educational workshops for kids, it truly is a community event.

There are many food stalls with freshly baked pastries. There were Savory Galettes (Left) which are Free-form tarts featuring flaky pie crust with fillings of baked cheese, egg, or ricotta mixtures, The Pinwheels / Buns (Center): are layered spiral rolls topped with everything bagel seasoning and corn or cheese fillings embedded in the centers. They also had Cheese Scones (Top Right):topped with melted, browned cheddar cheese and herbs.
