Not how I expected to spend November

I fell yesterday. and it resulted in two spiral fractures in my left leg.

An ambulance ride, time in the emergency room and my first ever broken bone.

I have a splint on my leg now, but will get a cast later today and they're telling me to expect to stay in hospital for 3 days, and after that a rehab facility for 6 to 8 weeks.

I am going to miss seeing the rest of autumn in the woods! It will be winter by the time I am able to bear any weight on my leg and return home.

Thank goodness I have all of you! At least the Ecencial part of my days can continue.

    Just what you don't need right now or any time. It's reassuring to know that you are getting good health care and I wish you a speedy recovery.

    Fractures are tricky so rest as much as you can. Everything else can wait.

    Oh Melinda, I am so incredibly sorry to hear this! I noticed today that you weren't active, and I was worried. Wishing you a smooth and speedy recovery. Please take all the time you need to heal and rest. I know it must be disappointing to miss the autumn woods, but your health is the most important thing right now.     Oh, how did it happen? I wish you a speedy recovery. My youngest daughter broke her hands 3 times. I know how unpleasant it is, especially the leg.
