Making the Most of Every Moment This Holiday Season

From the beginning of the year, it's been from one unexpected change to another, both for good and bad but honestly, the good is way more than the bad. I can't even remember the bad that had happened in this year that really weighed me down because one of the good changes I've been improving is having a grateful heart in everything.

What I'm saying, this year has been great so far and if you ask me what I'm looking forward to as the holidays are fast approaching, I choose to remain even more positive that a lot of great things will happen and the year will be one of my best years yet. I say this not because I have everything figured out but I'm positive about it.

First of all, I've been quite intentional about the things I listen to or read and it has improve how I react to things or situations so I am believing that the holidays coming with any uncertainties or unexpected will not throw me off what I have started to nurture or improve on. What I mean is, the holidays may not be all great but it'll be fine.

At the moment, my mum and I will be changing where we've been calling home for some years now because we are asked to move. It is going to be a major change for us as we enter into the holidays, trying to adjust and cope with a new environment while still going about all that we have planned for the year, feels exciting actually.

I've been commitment to an interesting work for a short while now and the holidays coming is a sweet relief I am excited to experience because I'll be free from the work and focus more on other things. There is even the possibility that I may stop the work before the holidays come but I'm positive that everything will work out well for me.

I'm also excited about the return of my siblings, I'll be having the moments with them that I've been looking forward to all year. We didn't get to spend much time together as family since the beginning of the year but we've always been in touch and we are all excited to sit together, plan, sing and do things together again after so long.

I'm not sure about an church program far away I'll be attending in the last month of the year but I'm excited about attending it, it will be my first time visiting the state and being part of the program. I don't know how it will made possible to be in attendance but I'm positive about the impact it will have on me when I visit there and come back.

Oh yes! I'll definitely enjoy the holidays coming because part of what I've learned very well is knowing how best to enjoy the moments I am blessed with. So even if by chance, the situation prevents me from having a great holiday experience, I have a positive mindset and a grateful heart to embrace it and simply just live it.
