"Pardoned By Grace" A True Life Story: Review

I had just finished seeing the last movie "Saved By Grace" when I decided to see this movie because of the almost similar titles but surprisingly, the story was entirely different and quite refreshing. I honestly didn't expect to have the beautiful time I had on this one, glad I didn't see it alone. It is really an inspirational true story.

I am definitely becoming a fan of the lead actor, Joey Lawrence. The same lead actor in Saved By Grace but this time, in a completely different character with an actual true story to follow up scene by scene. I've heard of people who do prison visits but I don't have much picture of what it actually looks like until I saw this movie.

"Pardoned By Grace" is a 2022 Christian based story that is based on a inspirational true story starring Joey Lawrence as Scott Highberger. The movie tells the story of Scott, a Michigan City, Indiana pastor. Before he practiced religion he was concluded to be a Drug addict and alcoholic, always causing troubles in the community and even outside. He begins to do God's work and so he begins to change. It is the story of how Scott Highberger overcame his demons and found religion resulting in a better life than prison life.

I must say though, before he finally decided to forsake everything and work for God, it was frustrating for me as a viewer to watch him go back and forth with his addictions and thinking it's his life to do whatever he wants with it. At some point, I couldn't predict what happened next because I thought he was going back to his addiction like he always did, but he had changed.

How Scott Highberger finally decided to be a better man, meets the woman he wants to marry and starting a prison ministry to help people who went in there for different reasons like he did, was a beautiful watch. I learned some deep lessons watching the others who supported and made him see where he needed to change self.

I also like that he didn't just go free from all the wrongs or crimes he had committed, he was given a warrant after he has long changed and become a better person. To help me not serve long term in jail, people came out for him and said so many good things about him in the short while he had proven to be the changed person.

It's a good movie and I enjoyed my time on it, you might want to check it out if you'd like to see it.
