I used to hear from my late high school teacher the statement, “Man proposes but God disposes.” No wonder in this lifetime we keep experiencing “closed and open doors”. Just recently I experienced a door that closes on me. I feel somehow sad as an initial reaction but then I realized that it could be an answered prayer. After all I didn’t particularly prayed for it, instead, I prayed for God to put me in a place where I can be most useful and where my heart rest easy.
Indeed, we cannot linger on closed doors or we will miss those that are opened for us. Today is a door of opportunity to make the right choices, an opportunity to live life as if it’s your last, an opportunity to love as if there is no tomorrow and finally an opportunity to live a life serving others as if you’re serving royalty for life is fleeting so must make the most of it.❤️
