I’ll tell you about a walk I took with my nephew through Lechería; we went to Plaza Mayor, hung out for a while, and had some delicious ice cream from McDonald’s.

I’ll tell you that the power had gone out that afternoon, but we didn’t let that stop us—we got ready to go out for a bit to have some fun and enjoy ourselves, We weren’t going to let the power outage stress us out, so we took a shower and headed out. We had the brilliant idea of walking there to kill some time, hahaha—it actually took us about an hour to walk from where we were to there. Along the way, we saw a very pretty church called San Jorge Church; I took a good shot of it so you could appreciate it.

Shortly after we arrived in Lechería, we headed to the Plaza Mayor. We took some photos with the lagoon and the yachts in the background. I don’t know if you’ve heard of Lechería’s famous floating houses—well, there was a development of those houses right nearby.

Right then, my sister arrived with her dog, and my nephew couldn’t wait to take her for a walk on her leash. Without further ado, I picked out the ice cream I wanted at that moment—a McFlurry. My nephew ordered one that was very different from mine. We both enjoyed the outing and sat there savoring our ice cream by the lagoon—it was great. but since nothing lasts forever, we had to head back home. When we arrived, the power was just coming back on, so the day ended on a high note. I’ll be reading your posts—cheers!!!
