Running is the part of sports I enjoy the most; I don’t care as much for other disciplines. Come to think of it, there was a time when I thought I wanted to sing; later, I thought it was drawing; then came my training in classical dance, followed by hip-hop—it never occurred to me before that this would end up being what I love the most.

For my first competition, things went quite well; I took second place in the 800-meter freestyle event. At first, I was upset, since I had been in the lead for the entire race—but in the final few meters, I ran out of breath. Now, we are preparing for an endurance-based event, as the next competition will be a 5-kilometer marathon.
