Al final, mi abuelo tenía razón; siempre mantuvo que el ave aparecería en algún momento en que no lo estuviéramos buscando, y así sucedió. Hace algunas semanas, cuando visitamos el hermoso parque que tenemos en la ciudad para hacer un picnic familiar a la orilla del río, y mientras disfrutábamos de unos bocadillos, el ave se posó en uno de los postes que está en el cauce de un riacho donde las personas dejan sus lanchas. Esta es una ¨especie¨: de ave realmente hermosa, y ha sido maravilloso dar con este ejemplar tan buscado.

In the end, my grandfather was right; he always maintained that the bird would appear at some point when we weren't looking for it, and that's exactly what happened. A few weeks ago, when we visited the beautiful park we have in town for a family picnic by the river, and while we were enjoying some snacks, the bird perched on one of the posts in the streambed where people leave their boats. This is a truly beautiful species bird, and it has been wonderful to find this much sought-after specimen.

Buenos días @miprimerconcurso, un video muy interesante, creo que es la primera vez que veo de forma tan nítida y cercana un ave con un pez en el pico. Me pareció que en un instante se acercó otra ave a disputar el pescado. Muchas gracias por el video y las fotografías.
