La semana pasada el avistamiento lo hicimos en el microcentro; esta semana regresamos al jardín de casa. Bueno, en realidad, ha sido el trinar de las aves que nos han invitado a visitar el fondo, y al hacerlo dimos con esta preciosa ¨ave¨: que, como les mencioné en otras oportunidades, son especies que tienen preciosos cantares.
Last week, we made our sighting in the city center; this week, we returned to our home garden. Well, actually, it was the birds' singing that invited us to visit the backyard, and in doing so, we came across this lovely "bird": which—as I have mentioned on other occasions—belongs to a species with a beautiful song.

Son de ese tipo que acostumbran a vivir en zonas de bosques, pero, como ven, se han adaptado muy bien compartiendo espacios con las personas. Tal como les había comentado, estamos en primavera, y estos ejemplares acostumbran en esta época del año anidar, por eso es que están gran parte del día trinando, una manera de llamar a lo que será su pareja.
They are the type of bird that usually lives in wooded areas, but, as you can see, they have adapted very well to sharing spaces with people. As I mentioned, it is spring, and these birds tend to nest at this time of year; that is why they spend a large part of the day singing—a way of calling out to a potential mate.
