Does Success Come From Luck or Hard Work? Maybe it works together.
Whenever we see someone doing well in life, one of the first things people say is, “This person is lucky.”
Maybe the person got a good job through someone they know. Maybe their business started growing suddenly. Or maybe they got an opportunity that changed their life.
But does success really come from luck? I believe luck can play a part, but hard work is also very important, if not the most important.
The truth is that sometimes, luck can give you an opportunity, but if you don't work hard, you may not be able to make good use of that opportunity.
For example, someone may help you get a job, but you still have to work well to keep the job. Someone may give you money to start a business, but you still have to put in the effort to make the business grow.
We often see people's success but don't see what they went through before getting there.
You may see someone doing well today and think, “She is lucky", but you may not know how many times she failed before things finally worked out. You may not know the sacrifices she made or how long she waited for her opportunity.
At the same time, hard work does not mean that everything will automatically work out.
There are people who work very hard but are still struggling. Sometimes, they simply haven't gotten the right opportunity yet. Some people also have more support and opportunities than others.
That is why I don't think success is only about luck or only about hard work.
Luck can bring an opportunity, but hard work can help you make something out of it.
Sometimes, what people call luck is actually someone who kept working until the right opportunity came.
So, when we see someone succeeding, we shouldn't be too quick to say it's luck.
Maybe they were lucky, maybe they worked hard. Or maybe both worked together.
