1st September 2026 Power Up Day

The first day of every month is power up day #hpud organised by #hivebuzz it adds a bit of gamification to the #hive blockchain just for fun and it shows your progress but why is it important?

Every time you increase your stake in your account a few things happen.

Firstly you increase your vote power and this increases your curation rewards and secondly it sends a signal to other users that you see hive as a place with a bright future.

Let me be clear. I'm not saying don't cash out your hive. That's your choice.

Your tokens your decision but at the current low price you have to ask yourself. What is potentially more valuable?

My next target 100k hive

There are a few doommongers at the moment due to hives low price but I think that they are missing a great opportunity to grab some hive while it's cheap.

For those new to hive. We have been here before and no doubt will be here again but who knows when that will be?

All of crypto is down at the moment but hive has something that a lot of other platforms don't have. An active community but you have to get involved.

If you want to get noticed you have to get engaged with the communities and find people that you share an interest with.

From photography, travel to poetry and everything in between there is a community for you. You just have to find it and leave comments. Meaningful comments and not just...."Nice photo!"

Last month I powered up 82,500 hive from hbd trades and today I powered up 194.699 hive that I earned from posting, curation and delegations.

It took me over 9 years to get to 10k hive from blogging and in that time I saved my hbd.

When the hive price dropped to just under $0.04 cents I swapped my hbd for hive and picked up 82,500 hive.

Did I get lucky? No I was just patient and waited until preparation met opportunity.

Thats a nice trade 👍 I'm not a fan of yellow jackets one of the few flying things around my garden that have ever messed with me. I learned my lesson and don't ever mess with them 😆

Great it's always good to see people powering up on 1st of every month. Those who are for long term always do that and it is good for the overall chain. The more holders we have the more better it will be for the entire ecosystem.

You really are doing great job powering up. At the moment I am powering up all Hive I get. I would also love to buy more HP but I will only be able to do that after a few weeks. Also this month I will probably buy less HP because I want to frame my current piece and that will be expensive.

I've been slowly swapping HBD for Hive over the last few months, $0.08, $0.07, ... $0.04 and today powered up 23,000 HP today. That was the plan. 👍

Nice one. I still believe in Hive despite it's issues. We have our problem people, but that's part of the freedom. I try to avoid the conflict and definitely don't hold grudges.
