I wrote my last post for #beersaturday some weeks ago, even if I love to deal with beer and the homebreweing in general. This is a world that I discovered almost 4 years ago and it has become one of my favorite hobbies. I like drinking this kind of beverage when I go out with my friend and family: beer is delicious with pizza for example, but probably I enjoy the best when I drink it alone, because in this way taste all the flavours.
Indeed in this episode I want to write about a special beer: 1452 - Vettore is the drink that I have selected today. This beer is very special for more than a reason and I would like to explain all of them in this post. In the meantime take a look to the beauty of the bottle!

Scrissi l'ultimo post per #beersaturday alcune settimane fa, anche se amo raccontare la birra e l'homebrewing in generale. Questo è un mondo che ho scoperto circa 4 anni fa ed è divenuto uno dei miei passatempi favoriti. Mi piace bere questo tipo di bevanda quando esco con gli amici e la famiglia: la birra è deliziosaas become one of my favorite hobbies. IInfatti in questo episodio voglio scrivere di una birra speciale: 1452 - Vettore è la bevanda che ho selezionato per oggi. Questa birra è molto particolare per più di una ragione e vorrei spiegarli tutti in questo post. Nel metre date un'occhiata alla bellezza della bottiglia!

Let's start from the name: 1452 is not a historical period, but it is the altitude where the main ingredient of this beer is growth. In fact this beverage is really special because inside it has a small part of something that is original of a specific area in the center of Italy: Lenticchia di Catelluccio di Norcia IGP. This kind of lentil is grown only here and it has a special taste that I can taste in the beer too. That is amazing how a specific ingredient can change a beer, changing it from a simple one to an amazing one. I love that beer and I am really sorry to buy only a bottle.
Iniziamo dal nome: 1452 non è un periodo storico, ma è l'altitudine dove l'ingrediente principale di questa birra è coltivato. Infatti questa bevanda è veramente speciale perché al suo interno ha una piccola parte di qualcosa che è originario e specifico di quest'area nel centro Italia: Lenticchia di Catelluccio di Norcia IGP. Questo tipo di lenticchia è coltivato solo qui ed ha un sapore speciale che ho potuto assaporare anche nella birra. Tutto ciò è grandioso, per come un certo ingrediente possa cambiare una birra, trasformandola da un qualcosa di semplice ed un qualcosa di sensazionale. Amo quella birra sono molto molto dispiaciuto di averne comprato solo una bottiglia.

In 2014 there was a huge earthquake in Norcia and the city was destroyed. All the building collapsed and the daily life of the people who lived there was overwhelmed. A disaster that ruined the life of thousands of people. They lost their works, their houses and also some people.
Today they are tring to get back on their feet, but they need the help of everybody can. I found this beer last week in a special event in my town (Siena), where all the dealers of Norcia were called to sell their products. A little help that Siena was happy to give and they sold almost everything they had taken. Norcia was very glad of that and Siena happy too.

Nel 2014 ci fu un terremoto enorme a Norcia e la città fu distrutta. Tutti gli edifici collassarono e la vita quotidiana delle persone che vivevano la fu stravolta. Un disastro che rovinò la vita di migliaia di persone. Persero i loro lavori, le loro case ed anche alcune persone.
Oggi stanno cercando di rimettersi in sesto, ma hanno bisogno dell'aiuto di chiunque possa offrirglielo. Trovai questa birra la scorsa settimana in un evento speciale nella mia città (Siena), dove tutti i commercianti di Norcia erano stati chiamati a vendere i loro prodotti. Un piccolo aiuto che Siena era felice di dare ed hanno venduto quasi tutto ciò che avevano portato. Norcia è stata grata dell'evento e Siena allo stesso tempo felice.
Oggi stanno cercando di rimettersi in sesto, ma hanno bisogno dell'aiuto di chiunque possa offrirglielo. I leave this last photo with the beer: this image has an important role in my opinion, because it is the greatest explanation of what HELP means. I did not charity, but I gave a great reason to keep strong to all the dealers who came in Siena during the last weekend. In my opinion they are happier now that they are gratified by their sales, because they have a good motivation to continue on fighting to rebuild what they had.
Lascio questa ultima foto con la birra: questa immagine ha un importante ruolo secondo me, perché è la più grande spiegazione di cosa significhi AIUTO.Non ho fatto beneficienza, ma ho dato una valida motivazione per tenere duro a tutti i commercianti che sono venuti a siena durante lo scorso weekend. Credo che siano più felici ora che sono gratificati dalle loro vendite, perché quello ripaga loro di una buona motivazione per continuare a combattere nel ricostruire ciò che avevano.
