Sometimes we become so focused on where we are going that we forget to notice the beautiful things around us, That was exactly what happened to me when I came across these beautiful flowers and
I was on my way somewhere and honestly, my mind was already focused on reaching my destination, I was walking and thinking about different things, probably wondering if I would get there on time and what I would do when I arrived.
The journey was normal nothing really special was happening, until something made me stop. I saw these flowers
At first, I was about to continue walking because I was already going somewhere, but something about them caught my attention, I decided to stop for a moment and take a proper look Sometimes, all we need is just a few seconds to notice something beautiful that has been sitting right in front of us.
The flowers looked so beautiful and peaceful, Their petals were well arranged and the way they stood together made the whole view look even more attractive. Some of the flowers were already fully open showing their beauty proudly, while others were still closed like they were waiting for their own perfect time to bloom. That was when I decided to take out my phone and snap a picture. After taking the photo. I decided to look at it in black and white and honestly, I loved the result.
Removing the colours did not remove the beauty of the flowers Instead it gave the picture a completely different feeling. The black and white effect made me notice the shape of every petal, the texture of the leaves, and the soft details of the flowers even more. I spent a little more time standing there than I originally planned. For those few minutes, I forgot about rushing to my destination, I just stood there and enjoyed the peaceful view.
Sometimes we spend our lives moving from one place to another, always thinking about the next thing we need to do. We wake up, prepare ourselves, go to school, work, meetings, or other places, and before we know it, the whole day has passed, We become so busy that we forget to slow down and appreciate the little things around us. This flower picture reminded me that beauty does not always need a special occasion.
Sometimes you can find something beautiful when you are simply walking down the road, You just need to pay attention. I was happy that I stopped that day. If I had continued walking without looking around I would probably have missed this beautiful moment completely. The flowers would still be there but I would not have taken the time to appreciate them or capture them.
Looking at this picture now. I feel like that short stop was worth it.
It was just a simple moment during an ordinary journey but it became something memorable because I decided to pause, Life can be busy and we all have places to go and things to do But sometimes, it is okay to stop for a moment. Look around. Take a deep breath, Appreciate nature. Notice something beautiful. You may be surprised by what you find. That day I was simply going somewhere but along the way, I found a reason to stop. And sometimes those unexpected little pauses are what make the journey beautiful
