I don't see any specific age for exercising. I think everyone can do it at any period of their life. The way of exercising can be different based on the personal state and age. It does not mean that exercising consists in going to the gym and lifting weights. Sometimes it can be as simple as taking a walk.
Because of my genes I'm unfortunately chubby. I used to work out lot and I used to go to the gym every day. I loved working out and pumping iron. However I started to lose a lot of weight rapidly, and I didn't know what was happening to my body. After that I could not go to the gym anymore.. Later I discovered that the reason for my weight loss was an illness, one of my organs was growing abnormally and ate all my fat.
I lost so much weight that all of my bones were visible. This was a terrible time for me. Because of this, I had to spend a long period on a healthy diet and take some medication. I couldn't go to the gym because my body was not ok. But back then, it was the best decision to do so. To make your body healthy should be the main goal of exercising.
Still now I do exercises but not like the hard mode as I used to do before. I go on walks with my friends. We gather when none of us is busy and walk around our neighborhood. We chat about various things and laugh a lot. It's not really a sport but when I am with my friends, everything is fine. Exercise can be viewed as a certain type of activity, which implies physical stress on the body, for example, walking, dancing, running, swimming or other exercises. The only condition is the improvement of one’s health and well-being through the exercise.
