The Hive Music Festival remains our flagship contest, but we want to breathe new life into the community with a parallel musical activity that’s more accessible to everyone. Today we’re launching “Cover Hive Music of the Month,” a space where each month we’ll feature a song chosen by you, the community, and where anyone can participate with their own version. Musiczone continues to be a stage for you to showcase your talent this time, without pressure, with creative freedom, and with a prize that grows with your support. This space is for you. It doesn’t matter if you’re a beginner or an advanced musician what counts is your interpretation, your style, your unique touch, and your creativity.
El Hive Music Festival sigue firme como nuestro concurso principal, pero queremos darle más vida a la comunidad con una actividad musical paralela y más accesible para todos. Hoy lanzamos el Cover Hive Music del Mes, un espacio donde cada mes tendremos una canción elegida por ti, la comunidad, y donde cualquiera puede participar con su versión personal. Musiczone sigue siendo un escenario para que muestres tu talento y esta vez, sin presión, con libertad creativa y con un premio que crece con tu apoyo. Este espacio es para ti. No importa si eres principiante o avanzado lo que vale es tu interpretación, tu estilo, tu sello, tu cretividad.

In this new Musiczone activity, we’re not looking for perfection we’re looking for your essence. We want to hear what your inner world sounds like and how it can convey rhythms and feelings to us. Every cover is a unique musical imprint, and in this community, every contribution inspires and elevates the group as a whole. So let go of your fear and the feeling that “I’m not good enough,” because the Cover Hive Music of the Month isn’t a competition it’s a stage for you to be your authentic self.
La música sin duda trasciende etiquetas y niveles. Esa emoción pura, que enciendes al conectar con tu instrumento o voz. En esta nueva actividad de musiczone no buscamos la perfección, sino tu esencia. Queremos oír cómo tu mundo interior suena y como puede transmitirnos los ritmos y sentimientos. Cada cover es una huella sonora única y en esta comunidad cada aporte inspira, y eleva el colectivo. Queremos que sepan que este post no es solo un concurso más, es un punto de encuentro con una comunidad activa, talentosa y en crecimiento. 📅 How does it work?
✅ We suggest three songs at the beginning of the month.✅ The community votes over the course of 3 days to choose the song of the month.
✅ Two days after the last day of the current event, we will announce the winner.

🎶 What kind of entries are accepted?
Anything goes, as long as it's music you've created yourself:
✅ Singing (a cappella, with backing track, with an instrument) ✅ Playing an instrument (guitar, piano, ukulele, whatever) ✅ Beatbox ✅ You have so much freedom that you could translate a song and interpret it however you like. We want you to create art and draw inspiration from it.

We don't have any additional funds, so 100% of the cash prize from THIS POST AND THE START OF THE INITIATIVE will go to the winner of the “Cover of the Month,” who will be announced in a wrap-up post to kick off voting again for the new songs that will be selected. The more support the post receives in the form of votes, the bigger the prize will be for the artist. So let's all pitch in!

We'll be evaluating: creativity, performance quality, and originality in the arrangement. But don't put too much pressure on yourself just try to do your best, and we'll also take into account your willingness to learn and participate.
