New Green Babies Just Came Home From The Nursery 🌈🌱

I did the dangerous thing again... I went to the gardener "just to look" and came back with a whole car full of plants 😂

My balcony is about to get a serious upgrade. Look at these beauties I just picked up today!

Meet the new additions:

Kaner / Oleander Top photo
Those long, glossy, rain-kissed leaves. Kaner is a Gujranwala classic — tough, evergreen, and soon it’ll give clusters of flowers. Perfect for our heat.

Money Plant / Pothos Middle left
The easiest plant ever. Heart-shaped bright green leaves and roots already showing. This one will live in water and in soil. Propagate forever.

CrotonMiddle center
LOOK AT THOSE COLORS! 🔥 Pink, yellow, orange, green all on one plant. Crotons are drama queens — they want bright light to keep the colors vibrant. Worth it though.

Allamanda Middle right
That single red trumpet flower against all the green. Allamanda blooms like crazy in summer. I can already picture it trailing down my wall.

Money Tree / Pachira Bottom left
The little braided-trunk one in the white pot. People say it brings good luck and prosperity. Even if it doesn’t, those 5-leaf palms are gorgeous.

Lucky Bamboo Bottom center
A whole bundle tied with red ribbon. Feng shui says it brings good energy. I just think it looks peaceful on a desk.

Anthurium Bottom right
The one with the shiny heart-shaped leaves. If I’m lucky it’ll give me those red waxy flowers later. Fingers crossed.

Why I love nursery days There’s something so hopeful about bringing home new plants. The soil is fresh, the leaves have raindrops, and everything is potential.

Each one is a little commitment. Light, water, patience. In return they give air, color, and that calm feeling when you sit with them in the morning.

“To plant a garden is to believe in tomorrow.” And today I believe in 7 tomorrows 💚

The Plan For Them Right now they’re in their nursery bags/pots. I’ll let them settle for 1 week, then repot into terracotta.

  • Sun lovers: Kaner, Allamanda, Croton → Balcony with 4-5 hrs morning sun
  • Indoor beauties: Money plant, Lucky Bamboo, Anthurium, Money Tree → Bright indirect light near window
  • Water Check soil first. Our spring is getting warm so maybe 2x a week.

Your turn Hive family Which one should I be most excited about? Any tips for Crotons? They scare me a little 😅
