Guarding the survivors from Mongol attacks, I fought through spearmen and archers to escort the group safely to Taka at the forge. Before continued the main mission, I scoured the area using aerial assassinations and photo mode scouting to eliminate every remaining enemy patrol across the village.
I braced myself for another intense battle, knowing I had to keep the fleeing peasants completely untouched as more Mongols rushed in to cut them down.
Juggling defense and offense was tough, but I prioritized the aggressive melee enemies before planned to eliminate the archers raining arrows on us from afar.
Right as I severed the arm of a Mongol warrior to end the wave, a lone spearman charged my position. I parried his initial thrust and took him down quickly before he could threaten the survivors.
With the immediate threat cleared, we resumed our trek toward the forge, but another group of Mongols ambushed the trail. While moving fast, I intercepted the attackers and cut them down before they could land a blow on the villagers.
As we neared our destination, I spotted a single guard standing watch near the village border. I closed the distance quietly and executed a swift assassination, clearing the immediate path to the forge.
Once the peasants were safely inside the forge, I was supposed to speak directly with Taka. However, using photo mode to scan the surrounding area, I spotted some Mongols scattered across the village.
Unwilling to leave any enemies alive behind me, I turned back to hunt them down.
Sprinting across the rooftops, I spotted a guard walking directly beneath my position. I leapt off the tiles, and executed an aerial assassination to drop him instantly.
Eager to clear the entire sector, I scaled a high platform to gain a better view of the streets.
Spotting another lone warrior patrolling below, I dropped from the high beams and brought him down with a brutal air strike.
I continued scanning the village from above, combining high vantage points with photo mode to check every alleyway, but found no further targets.
Being satisfied that the village was completely clear, I returned to the forge to continue the main mission.
