It was rubbish bin day, for the first time in months my bin was not jam packed full of declutting stuff. I quickly had a look around and remembered this old poster in the shed. I loved it but it was so old, it was fading and the colour was almost gone, it was just time for it to go too.
The photo was one of my favourites because it was my team when I was growing up in Melbourne. It was grand final day way back in 1975 we would have been watching on TV at home, the game started at 2pm Saturday afternoon. Number 24 Peter Knights took the mark of the year. I member being amazed, he was able to jump so high. I even remember 3 other players in the photo Wayne Schimmelbusch, David Bench, and Alan Martello. Even better was when I found in a bin at a factory I was working at, but that was years ago now. The good old days! The Grand stand at that venue now has 3 tiers all the way around.
