En esta oportunidad traigo para compartirles un dije muy original un tierno Caballito de Mar, lo realicé en mostacillones y alambre, un detalle para mi nieta colgarlo en su celular, pero también puede usarse como colgante de llavero, en las cuerdas de los bolsos, en un moderno collar etc. etc. Escogí para su elaboración el color azul celeste porque es uno de sus colores favoritos, espero que les guste esta hermosa creación. This time, I'm sharing a very original charm with you: a cute little seahorse. I made it with seed beads and wire. It's a little something for my granddaughter to hang on her cell phone, but it can also be used as a keychain, on bag straps, on a modern necklace, etc. etc. I chose light blue for it because it's one of her favorite colors. Los materiales que usé para la elaboración de este bonito Caballito de Mar fueron muy pocos y los detallo a continuación:

The materials I used to make this pretty seahorse were very few, and I've listed them below:

Ahora, vamos a iniciar el paso a paso de como hice la elaboración de este Caballito de Mar:
PASO UNO: Inicio usando la pinza de corte para separar una medida de ochenta centímetros de alambre de cobre de 0,08 milímetros en donde voy a colocar insertando por un extremo nueve mostacillones azul celeste que llevo hasta la mitad del alambre; ahora con una de las puntas cruzo cinco de los mostacillones halando las dos puntas para formar la figura que muestro en la foto de esta manera.

STEP ONE: I start by using wire cutters to cut a length of 80 centimeters of 0.08 mm copper wire. I then insert nine light blue seed beads into one end of the wire, pushing them halfway through. Next, I cross five of the beads over one end of the wire, pulling the two ends together to form the shape shown in the photo.
PASO DOS: En este paso inserto por una de las puntas del alambre cuatro mostacillones azul celeste uno negro para formar el ojo del caballito y otro mostacillón azul estos seis mostacillones los cruzo como muestra la imagen halando las dos puntas y una vez realizado ese modulo, formo la trompa del animal: inserto en el alambre del lado donde esta el ojo seis mostacillones azules y cruzo cuatro con el mismo alambre , halo fuerte hasta colocar los mostacillones junto a los otros y así formo la trompa. ( muestro imagen).
STEP TWO: In this step, I insert four light blue seed beads, one black seed bead to form the seahorse's eye, and another blue seed bead onto one end of the wire. I cross these six seed beads as shown in the image by pulling on both ends. Once this module is complete, I form the animal's trunk: I insert six blue seed beads onto the wire on the side where the eye is and cross four of them with the same wire. PASO TRES: Continúo abro los dos alambres y por una de las puntas inserto cinco mostacillones azules los cruzo con la otra punta halo fuerte para asegurar, asi queda la cabeza, sigo para formar el cuerpo en ka siguiente vuelta insertando dos mostacillones azules y dos blancos perlados cruzo y halo para asegurar, en la siguiente vuelta inserto dos mostacillones azules y tres blancos perlados; en la vuelta siguiente tres mostacillones azules y tres blancos perlados, ahora disminuyo en las vueltas siguientes insertando dos mostacillones azules y dos blancos perlados y en la vuelta final para formar el cuerpo tres mostacillones azules como se ve en la imágen.
STEP THREE: I continue by opening the two wires and inserting five blue seed beads through one end. I cross them with the other end and pull tightly to secure. This forms the head. To form the body, in the next round I insert two blue seed beads and two pearly white seed beads, cross them, and pull to secure. In the following round, I insert two blue seed beads and three pearly white seed beads; in the next round, three blue seed beads and three pearly white seed beads. PASO CUATRO: Ahora en este paso realizare diez vueltas de dos mostacillones azules para hacer la cola, una vez hecha las diez vueltas uno los dos alambres para insertar un cristal de murano azul, lo llevo hasta la última vuelta de los mostacillones donde moldeo con las manos para darle la forma a la cola como los caballitos de mar, ajustando bien inserto un escalachin que fijo con la pinza plana y me ayudo con la pinza de corte para quitar los excedentes. Ahora corto un trozo de alambre de quince centímetros y ahi inserto cinco mostacillones blanco perlados los coloco en la mitad del alambre tomo una de las puntas y la paso por tres de los mostacillones realizo un módulo de cinco para formar la aleta del Caballito abro las dos puntas y como se ve en la imagen las paso por la primera y segunda vuelta del cuerpo, ajustando bien coloco un escalachin y hago presión para que no se note quito los excedentes y asi queda.(imágenes).
STEP FOUR: Now, in this step, I will make ten loops of two blue seed beads to create the tail. Once the ten loops are complete, I join the two wires to insert a blue Murano glass bead. I take it to the last loop of seed beads, where I shape it with my hands to give the tail its form, like a seahorse. Tightening it well, I insert a crimp bead, securing it with flat-nose pliers and using wire cutters to remove any excess wire.
Now, I cut a fifteen-centimeter piece of wire and thread five pearly white seed beads onto it. I place them in the middle of the wire, take one end, and pass it through three of the seed beads, creating a module of five to form the seahorse's fin. I open the two ends and, as seen in the image, pass them through the first and second loops of the body, tightening it well. I add a crimp bead and press it down so it's not noticeable, removing any excess wire. And that's how it looks. (Images).
