Finally some recovery.

It's been a long time since we saw any kind of positive momentum in the markets so this was a long time overdue. It also shows how low we have fallen that top 50 coins can pumps 70-80% with very little effort.

AS usual Bitcoin leads the way jumping from 64K to 84K over the past two months which has dragged the rest of the markets with it. NEAR is the big winner of these latest pumps gaining almost 100% this week alone. Luckily I have a small bad of NEAR as it has some interesting use case for cross chain swaps and DEFI but only it's only a small amount. It has some room to grow with an ATH of over $20 so it will be interesting to see if it can continue it's growth for the rest of the year or whether this is all just another fake out before the markets crash again.

It would be nice to see some consistent positive momentum for crypto as these past few years have been so tough on every team in the industry. It's no wonder that so many have collapsed in this period with too much investment up front, no product behind these projects and founders with no business skills.

I still prefer to back projects that have stood the test of time rather than the latest sexy launch which usually means they won't explode 100x but also means they rarely implode either.

Prices might go down but if you don't sell and can wait out the cycle then profit will come at some stage. This has been a long painful cycle so it would be great to finally see some profit from some of the long term holds that I have.

Hive is always an exception to that rule as hive is something that I just want to keep accumulating regardless of price and try to strengthen my position on the chain.

Everything else to me is just money except for Hive and splinterlands. Let's hope for a few good months and get us all back on track.

That NEAR 100% weekly pump is the kind of move that makes you question your own portfolio management.

I’m with you on the "fake out" warning. We’ve seen this exact pattern three times now—Bitcoin leads, alts chase, and then the liquidity dries up before Q4 ends. The difference this time is that NEAR actually has cross-chain utility, not just hype. That’s why it’s holding up better than most.

Your "Hive exception" rule is the only rational way to survive these cycles. Treating Hive and Splinterlands as long-term holdings regardless of price is basically the only strategy that doesn’t require constant chart staring. Everything else is just gambling with better branding.

Here’s to a few good months. If we can keep this momentum without another 20% dump next week, we might actually finish the year in the green.

It seems the crypto scenario is turning in our favor, @niallon11.

I think we will witness quite a bit of volatility with some swings left and right. But in the end the uptrend will continue as the market looks bullish once again and investors appetite is back on crypto.
