I know there are a whole lot of decision that one must make in life, but for this particular edition I want to focus on marriage decision. Because at times this is one aspect of decision that people overlook but it's one of the most important decision to make in life as a man or woman. Because the person you end up with can either make or mar you. Few weeks ago, I read something online about newly married couples seeking for divorce in a marriage that is not up to a year. And someone said in the comment section that from the start ( during their courtship ) that he had the feeling that the man and woman did not make the right decision when they agreed to get married. His reason was, because the lady lack respect for the guy and that he knew that the respect issue alone would limit the amount of love the guy would show shower on the lady. And I sat back to reason that statement. I found some level of truth in it. The truth that we must all know and consider while making our marital decision is to understand that what a man sees and take as love is RESPECT. If you respect a man, the man automatically see it as love. And if you can respect a man, you can easily control that man. No matter how hard the man seems to be. So if you feel you love your man, then respect the man because that's what he sees as love. Now when it comes to the ladies, they need the love. Because as a lady you can't boldly tell your husband to respect you, but you can tell him to love you. Which is why it's important to get a guy that loves you. Because any man who loves you will respect you automatically. Not as if the will be bowing down for you, but you will see that respect in his actions . Especially , if there are things you don't really want him to be doing and you know how to approach him on that issue. My dear if the guy truly loves you he will change. Even bible will always say.
Husbands love your wives and wives respect (submit) to your husbands.
We have seen a lot of marriages crash as a result of wrong decision. Making some decisions before marriage is making a better life decision, because marriage in its own is a life journey that has no expiry date.
